What are your opening hours?
The Good Practice is open 7 days a week, for both GP appointments and pharmacy requests.

Are you open on weekends?
Yes. We are open every weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays, offering private GP appointments, pharmacy services and wellness treatments such as cryotherapy and red light therapy.
Are you a private-only GP practice?
Yes. The Good Practice is a private GP practice only and all appointments and services are paid for. We are not an NHS GP surgery.

Do you treat patients on the NHS?
No. We are a private GP practice and do not currently provide NHS GP appointments.
Is your pharmacy on-site?
Yes. We have an on-site pharmacy, run by September White, so patients can access prescriptions and support in the same location as their GP appointment, including weekends.

Can you do repeat prescriptions?
Yes. We can assist with private repeat prescriptions. Our clinicians will review your requirements and advise on the appropriate next steps.
How much is your annual membership?
Our household annual membership is £170.00 for all family members living at the same address. Please contact our team for pricing and availability.

Can I book a same-day appointment?
Yes. We offer same-day private GP appointments, subject to availability, helping you access medical advice and prescriptions quickly when you need it.

Can appointments be covered by insurance?
Some private medical insurance providers may cover private GP consultations. We recommend checking directly with your insurer and work policy before booking to confirm your level of cover.
Do you offer parking on-site?
Yes. We offer all-day free parking on-site for patients visiting The Good Practice directly outside the premises.
Can I see the same Doctor each time?
Yes, our lead practitioner is Dr Josh Newman who you will see consistently for your appointments.
Do you offer blood tests?
Yes. We offer private blood tests and phlebotomy services at The Good Practice. Blood tests are quick and straightforward, with most routine results available within 24–72 hours. Some specialist tests may take longer depending on processing times by laboratories.
Do you do sexual health screening?
Yes. We offer confidential and discreet sexual health screening services for adults, including testing, results, and treatment where required.
Do you offer flu and travel vaccinations?
Yes. We provide flu and travel vaccinations. Our team can advise on the vaccinations you may need based on your travel plans or healthcare requirements.
